Chiron, Human Design and the 12 signs of the zodiac in the profession

What kind of life would be possible if we were not wounded? Is there such a thing as healing for wounds that arise, for example, from a dismissal? What is the purpose of wounds in our professional lives?

It is hard to believe that injuries are simply necessary for our development – sometimes also for our professional development. But they are, because they are important for our personal maturation. When the wound has healed, we have grown and matured as human beings. You can find out what Chiron, human design and astrology have to do with this in this blog post.

Chiron in Human Design – Identifying the wound

Chiron (also known as Kiron) is not a planet. Chiron is both an asteroid and a comet that orbits the sun like the planets. Unlike the planets, however, Chiron has a highly elliptical orbit. It orbits the sun in an oval orbit.

In Human Design, the Chiron position stands for the personal wound of every person. This wound can be seen as a kind of mental or physical trauma (injury). By coming to terms with our wound and finally accepting it, we can also support and help our fellow human beings with this particular issue.

In the course of our lives, our wound becomes a special source of strength for us and our fellow human beings. You can find transparency about the wound and our very special remedy in a Human Design Career Reading. However, Chiron is not directly recognisable in the classic Human Design body chart.

Chiron, Human Design and the 12 signs of the zodiac

The individual Chiron themes (wounds, beliefs) result from the sign of the zodiac in which Chiron is placed at birth. Here you will find the description of the ‘wounds’ by zodiac sign:

  • Chiron in Capricorn: I don’t trust myself and have to follow external authorities.
  • Chiron in Aquarius: I have to adapt and suppress my individuality in order not to be excluded.
  • Chiron in Pisces: I can only follow my convictions if I can justify them rationally.
  • Chiron in Aries: I have to suppress my own will and subordinate myself to the will of others.
  • Chiron in Taurus: I have to suppress my physicality and passion. The wound concerns the acceptance of one’s own body and sexuality.
  • Chiron in Gemini: I have to trust mental knowledge more than my intuition and inner wisdom.
  • Chiron in Cancer: I must not show my emotional vulnerability and my feelings.
  • Chiron in Leo: I must not show my lightness and must suppress my creativity.
  • Chiron in Virgo: I have to fulfil the perfection demands of others.
  • Chiron in Libra: I must put my own needs aside for the good of others and not assert myself. Only then will I be loved.
  • Chiron in Scorpio: I have to suppress my truth because it could hurt or shock others.
  • Chiron in Sagittarius: I must not trust and express the wisdom of my body intelligence, my feelings and my higher knowledge.

Overcoming the Chiron wound

The wounds described are generational themes, as Chiron is in the same sign of the zodiac for several years. However, the way in which the wound is healed is individual, as the healing is activated by the gates (conscious and unconscious) and their lines activated in Human Design. In symbolic terms, the goal is to transform the Chiron wound into a scar. The pain is still visible but the issue behind it is healed.

The gates in which Chiron is positioned at birth (or for the unconscious aspect approx. three months before) provide information about how one’s own wound can be overcome. The unconscious Chiron position (design Chiron) stands for the healing power of the wound. The conscious Chiron position (personality Chiron) tells us how the ‘healing’ is made possible.

The Chiron Return

In the Chiron Return, Chiron returns to its natal position. This takes place between the 49th and 51st. From this point onwards, we enter the stage of our lives in order to fulfil our ‘higher role’. It is about realising our full potential and thus helping our fellow human beings.

The profiles with the 6 lines (profile 3/6, profile 4/6, profile 6/2, profile 6/3) in particular begin their third phase of life in their role model function with the Chiron Return. They see life more and more from a bird’s eye view and are now allowed to return to the ground to teach people something. Your own gifts and talents are now fully expressed.

Human design, Chiron and the professional world

Chiron is also an important aspect for the professional world. Because it is not unaffected by our personal injury either. If we know our Chiron aspects, we can consciously utilise the resource behind the wound to strengthen ourselves and our colleagues, companions or clients.

Few people of our generation have as much transparency about the Chiron wound as those of us who are dealing with it. The solution or healing lies in our own individual approach. As a wise coach, counsellor or mentor, we can even build our positioning specifically on the Chiron information or incorporate it into our positioning.

How do you feel about the idea that our wounds can be a source of strength? Have you had this experience? I look forward to your comment at the bottom of this page.
