In this article, I describe how you can calculate your personal Human Design without a birth time. In this blog post, you can find out what data you need and how you might still be able to get your birth data. Have fun reading!

Human Design: A new perspective for your professional development

Human Design gives you interesting insights into your strengths and weaknesses, your talents and (professional) preferences. It shows you how to make successful decisions and work optimally with your fellow human beings. Human Design helps you to get to know yourself from a new perspective, which can completely change the way you look at your life or your job.

You can use the information you gain to benefit your professional development. Human Design is not a belief system, but a personal experiment that can steer your professional life in a positive direction.

Relevant data for the calculation of your Human Design Chart

By calculating your personal chart, you enter the world of Human Design. To do this, enter the following data into my Human Design Chart Calculator:

  • Your name
  • Your date of birth
  • Your birth time
  • Your place of birth

How to get your birth data

It will usually not be difficult for you to find out your date and place of birth. You have stored these dates in your memory since childhood. The time of birth can be a little more difficult. You probably don’t know your time of birth if you haven’t yet studied human design or your birth chart.

You can find your time of birth on your birth certificate, for example. Don’t have this available? Then ask your parents. The birth certificate is often kept in the family register. Your mother may also remember your time of birth. It is important that the time of birth is entered as accurately as possible when entering the data. Otherwise you may get incorrect results, especially in the finer details of your human design analysis (e.g. Below the Line).

Unfortunately, some people’s time of birth remains a mystery. Perhaps the records have been lost and no one remembers your exact time of birth. But even in this case, you have the opportunity to find out your time of birth. An inquiry at the registry office can shed light on the matter. You can easily obtain information about your time of birth from the registry office in your place of birth. It is best to call the registry office beforehand.

In some cases (e.g. in developing countries) the place of birth is unfortunately not registered. Sometimes the place of birth is also fudged for various reasons. I have heard interesting stories from customers, e.g. Jimmy from Kenya. For some reason, it made more strategic sense in his case to enter a false place of birth on the certificate.

Calculate Human Design without birth time

If you have not received your birth time from your parents or in any other way, you will unfortunately have to improvise. Without a birth time, I recommend that you first enter 12 o’clock as the mean value in the Human Design Calculator. Then you can also enter, for example, 6:00 am and 6:00 pm in the Human Design Calculator and analyze whether important aspects change. By major aspects I mean centers, channels, type and profile.

In an initial meeting or beforehand in a reading, we could take a closer look at how consistent your Human Design Chart is before and after 12 noon on your birthday. With professional Human Design software, it is possible to look at the changes in the Human Design chart during the birthday at variable time intervals. I use the software from 64keys for this. We can take a close look at the aspects of your Human Design Chart that do not change throughout the day together in the Human Design Reading.

If, for example, “only” a few hanging gates change without new channels being created, we can continue to work very well with your chart. The constantly activated Human Design centers alone say a lot about you. If a major change (e.g. in the Human Design types) occurs in the Human Design Chart during the course of your birthday, I can try to find out which Human Design type you are by asking specific questions. A certain degree of uncertainty must be taken into account.

FAQ: Questions about Human Design without time

How do I calculate my Human Design without time?

To start with, you can enter 12 o’clock in the Human Design Calculator to recognize the most important elements of your Human Design Chart. To be on the safe side, however, you should test different times on the same day to identify possible differences in the types, definitions of the centers, etc.

Where can I find my birth time to calculate my Human Design?

You can usually find your time of birth on your birth certificate, which is often filed in the family register. If you cannot find it, enquire at the registry office where the birth was recorded by issuing the birth certificate.

What alternative options are there for calculating my Human Design if the time of birth is unknown?

Another way of determining the time of birth is the myostatic test. By closing the thumb and index finger into a ring, a trained person can determine a person’s time of birth by pulling the fingers apart in conjunction with corresponding statements. This test should only be carried out if there is no other possibility.
