What is holding you back from your vocation?

by | Nov 17, 2025 | Newsletter | 0 comments

Hello,

We live in uncertain times.

That’s what we’re told every day, at least.

In the news. On the radio. In conversations.

But honestly: when was it ever really safe?

Should we just accept what we’re being told?

Or do you question what we’re being told from time to time?

Let’s take a different perspective.

In Germany, there’s a rule for everything. A regulation. A law.

And that is exactly what often makes us feel uncertain.

I remember my climb up Adam’s Peak in Sri Lanka.

5,500 steps. Each one a different height, a different depth. All to experience the sunrise and take part in the religious ceremony at the monastery.

Honestly… a nightmare for safety fanatics.

If this mountain were in Germany,

there would be a sign on every single step:
“Caution: risk of tripping!”

But what if we shifted the whole topic of safety inward?

From the outside world into our inner world.

Everyone talks about psychological safety these days. And yes, it is important.

But when safety becomes the highest rule, real change never happens.

Because innovation, creativity, and growth do not arise from safety.

They arise when you take a risk.

When was the last time you did something that truly challenged you?
When you actually took a risk?

Questions and answers about this newsletter

What does “inner security” mean in the context of personal development?

Inner security means building stability and trust in yourself — independent of external circumstances. It forms the foundation for making courageous decisions and enabling personal growth.

Why is risk important for professional and personal change?

Innovation, creativity, and development only emerge outside the comfort zone. Anyone who takes no risks automatically prevents growth — both professionally and personally.

What does psychological safety have to do with courage?

Psychological safety creates a protected space in which courage becomes possible. However, when safety becomes the top priority, it blocks change, the unfolding of potential, and further development.

Who is the Human Design Vocation Course for?

The Human Design Vocation Course is designed for people who want to gain professional clarity, recognize their uniqueness, and are ready to take courageous steps toward self-realization. Ideal for anyone seeking meaning, fulfillment, and direction.
