What would life be like without fear?

Hello,

I’m back from my trip to South Africa – one month of parental leave to escape all the hustle and bustle in Germany.

But I can tell you, before we even left, people really made me quite afraid…

🛑 “Do you even feel safe there?”
🛑 “You really want to go to South Africa with kids?”
🛑 “Did you get vaccinated against rabies, hepatitis, and so on?”

These questions came up again and again and again and again…

…no wonder – we live in an age of fear. Fear is the background frequency of our everyday life. You can feel it everywhere:

👉🏻 in election campaigns,
👉🏻 in the media,
👉🏻 on social networks

We’ve gotten so used to it that we hardly question it anymore. Fear shapes our thinking, our actions – and often our decisions.

Maybe that’s why you’re reading my newsletter so eagerly right now. 😉

The invisible power of fear

Fear is an ancient emergency program of our biology. It puts us into a state of fight, flight, or freeze – vital for survival in real danger.

But what happens when fear becomes chronic? Then it separates us from ourselves.
In psychology, this is called dissociation – we observe ourselves from the outside, feeling disconnected from reality. This leads to social anxiety, avoidance behavior, and growing insecurity.

Let’s take the beloved home office…

Of course, it’s practical — we can hang up the laundry in between and unload the dishwasher.

But often there’s an unconscious longing for safety behind it. We avoid the outside world — and unconsciously reinforce our fears and disconnection from real life.

What really helps against fear

Fear doesn’t disappear through withdrawal. It dissolves through experiences that show us:
I can do this, because I am who I am.

To do that, we need to go out, experience new things, and sometimes push the limits of our comfort zone.

And now comes the exciting connection to Human Design.

For about 400 years, we’ve been living in an era shaped by the 1st line of the hexagram.
And this line carries – who would have thought – the frequency of fear.

The 1st line seeks security through knowledge. It needs stable foundations to feel strong.

But now something big is happening: the epochal shift in 2027 will move us from the 1st to the 6th line – the frequency of innocence.

This 6th line is transformative and leads to greater connectedness.
We are, therefore, on the verge of a new background frequency that we can hardly yet comprehend.

Your path out of fear

Without fear – which unconsciously accompanies us every second – I’m convinced our entire worldview would be completely unmoored.

But we can consciously choose the path that aligns with our Human Design.

My written Human Design self-coaching course helps you do exactly that — to recognize it and walk your own professional path with confidence.

This course is tailored specifically to you and shows you how to leave fear behind — for a self-determined, fulfilling professional life.

Questions and answers about this newsletter

What role does fear play in Human Design?

Fear is a central theme in Human Design, especially in the current era, which is shaped by the 1st line.
It seeks security through knowledge – and that’s exactly why fear often accompanies us unconsciously in everyday life. But the awareness centers also have an important connection to fear.

What does the epochal shift of 2027 mean in Human Design?

In 2027, the background frequency will shift from the 1st to the 6th line.
This brings a major shift from fear and the need for security toward more innocence, lightness, and connection.

How can Human Design help overcome fear in professional life?

Your Human Design Chart shows you how to make decisions based on trust rather than fear. This will give you more clarity about your career path and boost your self-confidence.
