Last week, I watched the video again after a long time.<\/p>\n
Because out of nowhere my intuition told me: \u201cYour client Ingo will benefit from this too.\u201d<\/p>\n
And I was just as moved as I had been years ago.<\/p>\n
In his talk, Sinek explains what companies do in order to be perceived as successful<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Why we remember people we admire<\/strong> for what they did\u2014or what they did once they were blessed with time.<\/p>\n Is your job actually aligned with your WHY?<\/p>\n <\/strong>In other words: Does your work match your intrinsic motivation?<\/p>\n <\/strong>This is a question I asked myself when I was still employed:<\/p>\n \u274c Did I listen to my intuition back then? Not really.<\/p>\n <\/strong>I worked at a great company, had (some) cool colleagues, and the money was pretty good too.<\/p>\n But to be honest, my heart wasn\u2019t really in it.<\/p>\n <\/strong>I did have a deep inner desire to build something of my own.<\/p>\n Something that, in the broadest sense, had to do with psychology.<\/p>\n But my reality looked completely different.<\/p>\n <\/strong>I was walking the path that others would have considered meaningful.<\/p>\n Or rather, what I believed others would consider meaningful for me.<\/p>\n To put it bluntly: I realized that this professional life would never truly fulfill me in the long run.<\/p>\n <\/strong>This train of thought, which began as a wish, led to a completely new way of getting to know myself better\u2014 self-awareness through Human Design.<\/p>\n <\/strong>Just to name one example: I have the Right Cross of Penetration<\/strong> as my Incarnation Cross<\/a>, which, simply put, is about penetrating people\u2014just as much as penetrating myself. <\/p>\n And that helped me understand why psychology had always fascinated me.<\/p>\n And why life kept trying to tell me, again and again, that this is my thing.<\/p>\n But back then, I didn\u2019t yet know my strategy for responding to life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Maybe you recognize yourself in part of my story.<\/p>\n <\/strong>Human Design was\u2014and still is\u2014a great help for me in shaping the second half of my professional life.<\/p>\n Not only in the WHY<\/strong>, but also in the WHAT<\/strong> (what I do) and the HOW<\/strong> (how I do it).<\/p>\n Because every day I pursue the things that are important to ME and that are good for ME.<\/p>\n Wishing you continued success,<\/p>\n \u2013 Thomas<\/p>\n P.S.<\/strong><\/p>\n That was a bit more \u201csoul striptease\u201d than I usually include in my emails.<\/p>\n Next time, it will be more about Human Design promises again.
